Kingfish is a fictional character on the former “Amos and Andy” television show in the 1950’s. Kingfish continually attempted to “trick” his colleagues, and community, to participate in schemes and hustles that ultimately only benefited the Kingfish, similar to what is occurring in many parts of the African-American community today. With phony economic development specialists, inept and more than often uninformed elected public officials, spineless and cowardly do-nothing non-profit organizations coupled with the corporatized faith-based initiatives and organizations. It is of no surprise that Kingfish has emerged to rear its ugly head!community-building events, and in-depth training sessions for our volunteers.
Kingfish, though over 60 years in existence, is a symbol of the African-American leadership in many of our minority majority urban communities today that prey on the African-American community strictly to benefit their own personal financial gain. There is no desire to better the community to which Kingfishis supposed to serve, simply more opportunities to devise schemes and hustles for their own personal financial gain. This resurgence of this hustler-styled leadership has resulted from the deterioration of a diverse media environment, the continued de-stabilization of the African-American family, dismantling of public education, and the compromised cult rising of the religious institution called “The Black Church”.We're excited to have you join the team!

This may be the first time you have heard this: Chris Moews, like David Clarke, is a Republican! So in essence you have two Republicans vying in the Democratic primary to put a (D) behind their name on the ballot in the election for Milwaukee County Sheriff in 2014.
